Internet Routing Stability

Nowadays the Internet grows relatively rapid in the functions, the topology and the number of router address prefixes, caused by the rapid increase in the number of connected hosts and the deployment of the Internet infrastructure. This writing examines/describes a number of previous studies, which have dealt with various aspects of routing behavior in the Internet. These studies used experimentation to measure and document various aspects of the routing dynamics, and they identify several stabilityrelated problems in today’s Internet. One of the essential key findings was that the stability behavior of Internet routes has degraded with growth.
